II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Residential
estate regeneration including Demolition, site preparation and clearance
work.
To regenerate the Fieldhead residential estate through the demolition of
hard to let flats and replace with family homes, while also looking at the
other provision within the estate area:
Demolish hard to let units,
Building new family homes,
Improving the quality environment of the existing homes,
Continuing the mixed tenure nature of the estate,
Maximising the numbers of social rented family housing,
Exploring options for inclusion of other facilities, including shops and
links with the existing school and Sure Start centre,
Kirklees Community Association is a limited company (no 02796002) and
registered charity (no 1032305) that works for the benefit of the people
of Kirklees.
